first and foremost, this is a story about trauma and how we cope with it. i'm gonna try to keep it lighthearted but like. this is just kinda how the story wanted to be. i don't intend to depict any of this too graphically. the first draft was a heck of a lot more grimdark, trust me.

the setting is seemingly apocalyptic in nature. the characters will believe that the world has ended. death, as well as death of loved ones is a trigger warning that comes with this.

the main characters have had non-invasive scientific procedures done to them without their consent. i do not intend to depict this on-screen but it will be dealt with.

there will be references to non-permanent deaths of,, an amount of teenagers. they will be okay.

in general, the three adult characters are not good people:

parental abuse and cult-like, manipulative behavior will be touched on within the same character.

another character is in the military, though it won't be extensively depicted.

another is verbally abusive as well as manipulative bc. wow.

BIG BIG SPOILERS DOWN HERE: one of the main characters has already died.

before her amnesia, one of the main characters was very affected by suicidal thoughts and ideation.

three major characters and one antagonist are affected by non-graphic eye trauma. all characters are affected by non-graphic burns.
